ThinkAgent is a project built on the THINK Protocol, an open and decentralised standard for building, owning, and evolving AI agents. The platform enables users to create and personalise their own agents, making them unique, autonomous, and fully interoperable across networks and apps.
At its core, ThinkAgent is more than a product; it’s an idea. One that combines AI, web3, and digital identity into a user-first experience.
When they came to us, their product was in early stages, but their ambition was clear: create noise, build belief, and drive participation ahead of the protocol’s NFT release and upcoming token launch.
The Challenge
Like many early-stage web3 projects, ThinkAgent faced two distinct challenges:
1. Building Buzz for the NFT Launch
The team had created a collection of exclusive AI Agent NFTs that would give early supporters priority access, rewards, and long-term benefits within the ecosystem. But unlike typical art-based NFT projects, this one was deeply technical.
The challenge was to translate that complexity into excitement and drive enough attention and conversions to hit their minting goal.
2. Generating Pre-TGE Momentum
The team was preparing for a major Token Generation Event (TGE), scheduled for later in the year. They needed a strong lead-up campaign, something that would generate consistent community interest, drive sign-ups, and attract the attention of potential investors and launchpad partners.
The brand was compelling, but awareness was limited. That’s where we stepped in.
The Strategy
At Hyperfomo, we built a two-track strategy designed to create traction before the NFT launch and sustain momentum through the pre-TGE phase.
1. High-Impact X (Twitter) Content Campaign
We made Twitter (X) the centre of the campaign, knowing that it’s the pulse of the web3 world. But we didn’t just tweet updates; we crafted a full-fledged narrative around what ThinkAgent stood for:
- Teaser Content: We designed a series of short, curiosity-driven posts that hinted at what users could do with their own AI agents, without giving too much away.
- Educational Threads: We broke down the protocol’s core concepts, how you could “own” an AI, what “evolving” an agent meant, and why this wasn’t just another AI NFT drop.
- Visual Carousels: Created high-quality visuals showcasing agent mockups, roadmap highlights, and benefits of early participation.
- Community-Driven Polls and Q&As: We encouraged engagement through regular community check-ins and questions like: “What would you make your AI agent do for you?”
This helped build emotional ownership before the NFT even launched.
2. X Spaces Events and Strategic Promotion
To go beyond content and truly spark conversations, we organised a series of X Spaces (Twitter Spaces) events. These were key to building credibility and a deeper understanding of the project.
- We scheduled weekly themed Spaces, inviting the ThinkAgent core team, advisors, and even early supporters to speak about the vision and upcoming launch.
- We collaborated with partner communities and niche influencers to co-host Spaces, which helped bring in new eyes and voices.
- Each session ended with actionable takeaways and exclusive reveals like mint dates, whitelist giveaways, and early feature demos.
In total, the Spaces campaign reached over 45,000 listeners across 3 weeks.
3. Limited-Time Minting Push
Ahead of the NFT launch, we shifted into conversion mode:
- Built a sense of urgency with countdown posts and limited-mint visuals
- Shared early utility previews (e.g., “Agent owners will unlock AI evolution tools first”)
- Launched a referral drive where whitelisted users could earn perks by inviting friends
- Engaged directly with minting questions on Discord and Telegram to reduce friction
Results Achieved
The strategy delivered strong results across both clients’ primary goals:
Over $100,000 in NFT Sales
The NFT launch sold out, generating over $100K in minting revenue. The campaign helped move the audience from “just curious” to actual buyers by focusing on value and real utility, not hype.
Consistent Pre-TGE Growth and Engagement
We grew ThinkAgent’s Twitter following by 9x during the campaign and increased their average engagement rate by 250%. Their Telegram and Discord communities also saw a steady rise, with genuine conversations, not just bot growth.
